SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The services position created for intervention activities a large inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to help the servicing of sassa all clients and enhance usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the website agency said.
